Common Myths About CBD

Media is buzzing about CBD, and due to information overload; it’s difficult to find out what about CBD is true and what is not. Due to the high popularity of this magic herb, it gets highly essential to bust the common myths surrounding CBD.

A most common belief about CBD is that it makes its user high, but the truth is that CBD hemp oil is extracted from Cannabis Sativa L., which contains less than 0.2 percent of THC. This amount is very low to produce any potential psychoactive effect.

Most of the people think that CBD shows up on the drug test. CBD is non-psychoactive and has a different chemical structure than THC, so it is less likely that isolated CBD will produce positive test results. On the contrary, the test results may show positive with the full spectrum CBD products.

Another myth that is quite popular about CBD is that Hemp derived CBD is not as potent as Marijuana derived CBD. The truth is that the human body cannot differentiate between the CBD sourced from hemp or cannabis. All the bodily function and interaction with various enzymes remain the same irrespective of how they are sourced.
